Regression Therapy

Regression is a therapy that supports the theory that memories from one’s previous lives can be discovered through hypnosis.

Memories have been said to be reflected in multiple formats such as dreams, hypnotic states, and near-death experiences. Regression has traditionally been used to uncover hidden issues for those who are unable or simply refusing to access their memory deliberately.

Regression therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which the therapist assists the client in recalling memories from a previous life.

The advantages of regression therapy are numerous. It can assist us in better understanding our childhood experiences, current life, friendships, and ourselves. For example, if a childhood event continues to affect you,  regression therapy can be a helpful process of working through the trauma.

There are numerous general advantages of regression therapy, such as:

  • a better understanding of your childhood
  • the opportunity to address issues that may have been bothering you at the time
  • time to recover from past events
  • anxiety reduction
  • obtaining emotional equilibrium
  • to recover from a significant loss in the present or recent past.

Regression therapy may also assist you to distressing childhood memories that are rooted in trauma. This can result in anxiety, depressed mood, and sometimes even suicidal tendencies.

If you have a memory of something that happened to you when you were younger, you could be willing to see it in a different light.

You’ll have a greater understanding of why you thought, felt, or reacted the way you did back then, which will help you in your daily life today.

Several people who attempt this therapy discover that they are able to resolve conflict from their past that they never thought would go away.

How much time does it take?

Regression therapy sessions usually last two to three hours, sometimes even longer.

When you know what you really want to talk about, it is easier for me as a therapist to guide you. As a client reaction will differ depending on the severity of the trauma and the level of emotion associated with it. Some patients /clients may believe that the trauma they experienced in a previous life does not affect them in this lifetime.

It is common for myself as therapist to guide you through the  regression session. Whenever you want to return to the present, I will ask you if there’s anything from your past that bothers you, and if you’re ready to let go of this memory in particular.

Regression therapy can help with a variety of issues, including knowing your past life.

Another advantage of  regression therapy is the possibility of healing. This enables people to reflect on their lives and connect with aspects of themselves that they might not otherwise understand.

If you choose to get help with your current problems, you must go through at least one session of  regression therapy. I will guide you back in time during this process. So that you can pinpoint an event or experience from your childhood that may have caused the problems you are experiencing now.

Remember that every aspect of your life is affected by your mental health — your psychological, emotional, and social well-being. Emotional health essentially allows you to deal with life’s daily challenges more effectively.

Essentially, self-knowledge through remembering past lives begins with enhancing one’s well being.

We know that past events, conditions, and feelings have an impact on our physical and mental health. Perceptions accumulated over a lifetime little by little shape the layout of brain cells, determining an individual’s overall health state.

What happens during a regression session?

You will lie down on a bed, sofa, or seating area during the  regression therapy.

The session begins with a calming induction in which the patient is guided to relax and focus on their breathing. The regression is performed in a deep meditative state where past memories are easily accessed.

Experiences from a previous life are now available for us to relive and implement.

When you access a past life memory you are always in a state of heightened presence, you are always aware, and you communicate with the therapist throughout the session.

Before the session starts, you can also start preparing for your  regression session by considering the type of situation you wish to address. If you don’t have a specific one in mind, don’t worry; we’ll go exploring together and pick the ones that are ready to alleviate.

At the end of the session, you will be softly brought out of the hypnotic trance, and we will talk about your experience and the next steps.

Please allow enough time for yourself after the session. I would like to remind you that  regression is a risk-free method of  exploration and therapy. But even so, previous experiences can be overwhelming, and people occasionally require assistance in integrating them into their current reality. You must wait at least two weeks between sessions in order for you and your body to integrate these experiences.

NOTE: The session can take place remotely as well (via Zoom application) , from the comfort of your house and your own place of relxation.

What if the past trauma is too strong for me to cope with?

Just those past traumas for which the client is ready, based on his present energy level and capacity to challenge and process the physically and mentally aspects discovered during the regression, are brought to the surface by the regression technique.

It’s difficult for me to unwind and let go of control. Will regression help me in this situation as well?

The regression procedure begins with a relaxed state that prepares the client for a meditative state. This phase is tailored to the client’s requirements so that he/she can completely relax. It is also highly suggested in such cases that the client gets ready for regression by exercising everyday relaxation sessions. Furthermore, prior to regression, you can receive energy charging sessions, which aid in the relaxation of the nervous system and the induction of a state of deep peace.

What is the average number of regression sessions required to solve a problem?

A single regression is necessary for small issues. However, the majority of the issues are interconnected and have been aggravated by repeated trauma. As a result, multiple regression sessions are needed to melt down the numerous traumas that caused the problem.

Is it possible for anyone to attend a regression session?

Yes, any mentally healthy adult over the age of 18 can attend a regression session.

Regression is not advised in the following circumstances:

  • people requiring psychiatric treatment or who are registered with a psychiatrist
  • people under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances that affect the psychic state.
  • pregnant women, and people who have undergone surgery.
  • people with severe heart disease, high blood pressure or a heart attack.
  • clients with serious respiratory problems.
  • clients with retinal detachment or glaucoma.
  • clients suffering with chronic fatigue, and a sleep deprivation in the three weeks preceding regression.

What impact will the regression session have on my other activities?

Following a successful regression, as a consequence of the disintegration of one or more traumas, a significant amount of energy that had been blocked into those traumas is released. As a result, you can feel a sense of relief and happiness. Even so, it is strongly advised to take 2-3 hours after the regression to incorporate the aspects discovered during the regression and not schedule any demanding activities.

Please note:

Regression therapy does not replace the diagnosis, treatment, care and advice of specialised medical personnel.
